Lean in and Connect with Yourself First

Lean in and Connect with Yourself First

The world is busy, no doubt about that. Self care - wellness and taking care of ourselves is trending - TRENDING can you believe it? Where have we humans gone so off course that its become a trend rather than a standard practise? When I ask these questions I always test the theory on myself, and I have to be truthful and say that I have a shocking record. Pushing myself to the point of exhaustion, or neglecting my diet and nutrition as I was working or running around from task. To think  that I was neglecting to nourish my body so easily makes me wonder where that comes from, and yes that’s a question I am exploring.

I have though in recent months turned a new page in making sure I am taking c are of my health. Fundamentals like sleep, exercise, nutrition and water intake are all under my microscope and I feel so much better. It means Im having to tune in and listen to my body and not push through when Im feeling tired. My mental health is so much better too. I can’t stress enough that this small business entrepreneurial ‘thing’ must include our health and wellbeing alongside the marketing and business planning.

This shift has lead us to a new service that we feel will support in a gentle way our mental health and our physical will benefit too. Wellbeing Walks are launching in May and will be in all areas that WWA exists.

What is a Wellbeing Walk? Free for members, it will be a casual walk and chat for 45minutes led by a WWA member. Wellbeing Walks will be set to specific places and on a regular and reliable schedule. Guests will also be welcome with a gold coin donation which will go to Womens Community Shelters or the Little Cafe school.

We want to encourage you that might be working solo at home, or in an office, to get out into the world and take a stroll with likeminded and supportive women. At the moment we are looking for Wellbeing Walk Leaders, so if this sounds like you, please apply with Stephanie at info@womenwithaltitude.com.au.

And watch this space for more information on when Wellbeing Walks will be launched in May.

Until next week!

Big Hugs,
Andrea xx
