Women With Altitude | Terms of Use

Women with Altitude is a place where women in business can connect, share honestly and support each other. These guidelines help keep it that way. They apply at our events, chapter meetings, courses, and in all our online spaces, including member groups, forums and chats.

What we ask of everyone

Be kind and respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people. Everyone is welcome here, whatever their background, stage of business or point of view.
Keep it confidential. Members often share real challenges in their business and life. What's shared in the room, or in the group, stays there. Don't screenshot or repeat it without permission.
Give before you ask. The best connections start with genuine interest and help. Answer questions, share what's worked for you, and cheer each other on.
Be honest. Represent yourself and your business truthfully. If you share advice, share what you actually know.

Promoting your business

We love seeing what members are building, and we want you to find customers here. We just ask that you do it in a way that respects everyone's time.

Share your offers in the spaces and on the days we set aside for promotion, such as promo posts or member spotlights.
No high-pressure selling, fake scarcity, or "DM me for the secret" style posts.
Don't add members to your mailing list, or message them with a sales pitch, unless they've asked you to.
Don't use the member directory or event attendee lists for cold outreach.
Don't recruit members into network marketing or similar schemes in our spaces.

What isn't OK

Harassment, bullying, discrimination or personal attacks.
Anything unlawful, defamatory, or that breaches someone's privacy.
Sharing someone else's content, or WWA course material, without permission.
Spam, scams, or misleading claims

If something doesn't feel right

If someone's behaviour worries you, please tell us. Email info@womenwithaltitude.com.au, message a WWA team member or chapter host, or speak to us at the event. We'll treat what you tell us confidentially and follow it up.

What happens if the guidelines are broken

For most issues, we'll start with a friendly private conversation.
We may remove posts that break these guidelines.
For serious or repeated issues, we may suspend or end a membership, or ask someone to leave an event. Unless the situation is urgent, we'll explain our concerns in writing and give the person a chance to respond first.
